Investigation leads to two drug arrests

ALBION, N.Y. (WIVB) – Police agencies searched a vehicle in the Family Dollar parking lot on South Main Street in Albion and ended up arresting two people on drug charges.

The Orleans County Sheriff’s Office says this was part of an investigation into the sale and distribution of drugs. Police seized crack cocaine, marijuana and prescription narcotics from the vehicle. They then did a secondary search at an address in Lockport, where they found almost an ounce of crack cocaine, a quantity of marijuana and more prescription pills.

Police arrested 30-year-old Timothy J. Cobb of Buffalo, and 33-year-old Amanda K. Brosius of Lockport. They both face several drug-related charges. Brosius also faces a charge of unlawfully dealing with a child.

Cobb is in Orleans County Jail without bail and Brosius was committed to Orleans County Jail on $10,000 cash bail.
