On I-90 West there was congestion from Exit 51, for Route 33, to beyond Exit 52, for Walden Avenue. That traffic cleared up by 9 a.m.
NITTEC is also issuing an alert for Tonawanda Creek Road, because it is closed between Westphalinger and Northfield Roads in the Town of Clarence. There is emergency roadwork in the area.
