Law enforcement class graduates from ECC

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) There are now be 52 new men and women keeping us safe in Western New York.

The 123rd class from Erie Community College’s Law Enforcement Training Academy graduated Friday. The ceremony was held at 1 p.m. inside Canisius College’s Montante Cultural Center.

U.S. Attorney William Hochul said, “To those members of the graduating class, all of us in this audience urge you to do what is right. Have an unimpeachable demeanor, complete integrity and trustworthiness.”

This year’s class includes 13 United States veterans and 37 current officers.

The graduates will continue into deputy positions in Livingston County, and with police agencies in SUNY Oswego, Buffalo, Lackawanna, Arcade, Kenmore and Hamburg.
