Owner of South Buffalo store facing charges


BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – The owner of the Cazenovia Mini Mart in South Buffalo is facing several charges following a raid on Monday.

Buffalo Police along with State Police, Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement and other law enforcement agencies executed a search warrant at Saleh Sailani’s store in the 2300 block of Seneca Street. The 46-year-old has been under investigation for social service violations and other inspection issues.

Sailani is facing charges of misuse of social services, grand larceny, attempted possession of stolen property and other charges.

Authorities say the investigation continues and more arrests are possible.
