Buffalo-native’s killers escaped four years ago, today

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Congressman Brian Higgins spoke from the House floor on Tuesday to mark a dark anniversary for Western New York and the fight against terror.

Exactly four years ago, the men who killed Buffalo-native John Granville escaped from prison. Granville and his driver were shot to death two years earlier while working in South Sudan as a diplomat.

The State Department has issued a $5 million reward for their capture.

Higgins has now introduced a resolution that would require Sudan to remain on the state sponsors of terror list until his killers are captured.
