Month highlights health of nation’s heroes

NORTH TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WIVB) – The health of our nation’s heroes is taking center stage this month. June is National Post Traumatic Stress Awareness Month.

A local facility wants veterans to know they have a place to turn. Samaritan Counseling Services is holding an open house Tuesday. It’s at their main office on Old Falls Boulevard, in North Tonawanda. It’s from 4 to 7 p.m.

Anyone can stop by and meet their staff and learn about their services.
