Deputies make several arrests at Darien Lake concert

DARIEN, N.Y. (WIVB) – Deputies with the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office were busy Wednesday night at the Dave Matthews Band concert at Darien Lake Performing Arts Center.

Deputies made six arrests and issued nine tickets. A 17-year-old from Churchville, near Rochester, was arrested after allegedly impersonating someone while trying to enter the venue. The teen was charged with three counts of possession of another’s license. He was arraigned in Darien Town Court and remanded to jail in lieu of $1,000 bail.

A Rochester man was arrested for allegedly punching another male in the back of the head, and urinating on that person’s leg. Robert Langenbrahn, 38, is facing a charge of harassment.

Nine teenagers were issued tickets for possession of fraudulent licenses.

The sheriff’s office released the following list of arrests:

  • Colleen Hayes, 21, of Perry, arrested for trespass after allegedly re entering the venue after being ejected and told not to return.
  • William Meister, 29, of West Seneca, arrested for trespass after allegedly re entering the venue after being ejected and told not to return.
  • Richard Meister, 63, of Orchard Park, arrested for trespass after allegedly re entering the venue after being ejected and told not to return.
  • A 17-year-old from West Chili was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana.
