NRG plant to move from coal to natural gas

DUNKIRK, N.Y. (WIVB) – The New York State Public Service Commission has approved the repowering of a Dunkirk power plant from coal to natural gas.

A $140 million deal between National Grid and NRG will keep the facility operating for another 10 years.
