TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WIVB) – Troopers say a drunk driver refused to stop on I-190 north and led them on a pursuit that came to an end when the suspect pulled into his own driveway.

Just before 10 p.m. on Wednesday, State Police say they attempted to stop Ronald Delo of Tonawanda for multiple moving violations. But troopers say the 55-year-old refused to pull over and instead continued on I-190 to 1-290, exited at Colvin Boulevard, and led police to his home on Braxmar Road, where he stopped after pulling into his own driveway.

Police say Delo was taken into custody without further incident. His BAC was reportedly .21 percent.

Delo, who has two prior DWI convictions, has been charged with felony DWI, aggravated DWI for having a BAC over .18 percent, third degree unlawfully fleeing a police officer and multiple vehicle and traffic law violations.
