Two schools not laughing over student pranks

WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. (WIVB) – Two local school districts aren’t taking senior pranks lightly.

Officials at Williamsville North High School searched students who entered the building on Thursday because of rumors of a possible prank. Administrators say the searches are for students’ safety.

And in Wellsville, police are now investigating an apparent senior prank. According to the Wellsville Daily Reporter, someone smeared fish bait on several lockers at the high school. The lockers had to be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected.

It’s unclear whether charges will be filed.
