Former News 4 GM inducted into Hall of Fame


BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – A longtime member of the News 4 family was inducted Thursday into the New York State Broadcasters Hall of Fame.

Retired Channel 4 President and General Manager Chris Musial is part of the association’s class of 2014. He began his broadcasting career in 1974, when he wore many hats for WSMH, St. Mary’s High School in Lancaster.

He joined News 4 in 1978, producing weekend newscasts with Rich Newberg. He later was promoted to Executive Producer and News Director before becoming President and General Manager. He retired from News 4 last year.
