EAST AURORA, N.Y. (WIVB) – A gift from the men and women of the East Aurora Moose Lodge will help comfort children who are experiencing trauma in their lives.

The lodge donated ‘Tommy Moose,’ a stuffed animal, Friday night to the Erie County Sheriff, East Aurora Police and Fire, and the Jamison Fire Department.

Sharon Kuschel explained, “Each one tonight, we’re giving them each a dozen and then as they need them they’ll just contact us and we’ll replenish them. And they’ll keep them in their police cars and maybe ambulances and things like that.”

This is just one of several community projects the Moose Lodge is overseeing in East Aurora.
