Tonawanda apartment fire under investigation

TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WIVB) – Fire investigators are working to learn what started a fire at an apartment home in Tonawanda.

Crews were called out to the 200 Block of Main Street around 11 p.m. Friday. A News 4 Viewer sent us a photo showing flames coming from the roof.

The fire started in the upper apartment. The father and two kids who live upstairs weren’t home at the time.
