Cosmo a finalist for NLL Goaltender of the Year

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Buffalo Bandits star Anthony Cosmo is a finalist for the NLL’s Goaltender of the Year award, the league announced today.

Cosmo, the longest-tenured goalie in the league, set a new NLL record this season with 752 saves. He ranked third in save percentage (.797), and fourth in goals-against (10.77) and wins (8).

He is one of three finalists for the award, along with Edmonton’s Aaron Bold and Rochester’s Matt Vinc.

Winners will be announced at the NLL Season Awards Ceremony on Sunday, Sept. 21 in Oakville, Ontario.
