Grads will earn Homeland Security training degrees

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Some first-of-a-kind graduates will earn their degrees at Erie Community College, Tuesday.

The school’s first-ever class for their Homeland Security training partnership will get their diplomas on Tuesday. The partnership is a joint venture between community colleges and the Transportation Safety Administration to try to bolster its workforce across the country.

ECC and the Buffalo Airport joined the program last year.
