Plans for old school building to go before board

AMHERST, N.Y. (WIVB) – Big plans for the old Cantalician Center on Eggert Road will go before the Amherst Planning Board on Thursday.

Ellicott Development purchased the site last year for $700,000. They want to invest $6 million into the center and turn the property into a mixed-use site with 38 apartments and several thousand square feet of office space.

Developers want to start work at the site by August. There is no name announced for the project yet.
