Explore Buffalo offers vertical tour of Silo City

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Explore Buffalo is offering a vertical tour of Silo City on Friday, offering a unique view of the Queen City.

Tourists will be able to climb to the top of a grain elevator. Along the way, they will learn about its history and how it works.

You may not want to do this if you’re afraid of heights. You have to be fit enough to climb ladders and stairs. If you’re interested, tickets are $45.

If you enjoy Silo City, you may want to check out an event they are having there next weekend. The City of Night takes place June 27 and June 28, from 4 p.m. to 1 a.m. City of Night is a one-night multi-disciplinary art event, taking place at the grouping of historic, privately-owned grain elevators on the Buffalo River, just off Ohio Street. There will be art installations, music and much more.
