Museum to waive admission for military members

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – The Buffalo Museum of Science is saluting servicemen and women past and present by offering free admission on Independence Day.

The museum will waive admission for all active and retired members of the military on Friday, July 4 so they can experience ‘Mummies of the World: The Exhibition’ at no cost. Military admission is normally $18.

Visitors will be required to present military ID or discharge papers and photo ID. This offer does not apply to family members or guests.

The museum, located at 1020 Humboldt Parkway in Buffalo, will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on July 4 with the last admission to the mummies exhibit at 8 p.m.
