Wagon traps and kills man on Wyoming County farm

ORANGEVILLE, N.Y. (AP) — Police say a 44-year-old man has died from injuries suffered in an accident on a western New York farm.

The Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office says Michael Flint was operating a large farm tractor with a wag on in tow Wednesday morning at the Flint Farm in the town of Orangeville.

Deputies say Flint parked the tractor and unhooked the wagon. Investigators believe the wagon rolled forward, trapping Flint between the front of the wagon and the tractor.

A person at the farm found him and called emergency dispatchers to report an accident with entrapment.

Flint was airlifted to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, where he died Thursday.
