Man admits attack at Darien Lake that left victim in coma

DARIEN, N.Y. (WIVB) – A man from Ontario, Canada has pleaded guilty to seriously injuring another man during a concert at Darien Lake.

Just before his bench trial was set to begin on Tuesday, Craig Lawson pleaded guilty to second degree assault.

Lawson attacked Jason McNeil at the Kid Rock concert in July 2013, leaving the Alabama businessman in a coma.

Lawson will be sentenced August 18.
