Crews put together crane for Delaware Ave tower

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Uniland Development is busy getting to work on Delaware North’s new headquarters.

The final section of the tower crane at 250 Delaware Avenue was assembled Thursday. Delaware North says this marks a milestone in the 20-month-long project to create a world-class mixed-use commercial center.

Senior Marketing Manager Jill Pawlik said, “We also have about 80,000-square feet of Class A office space available to lease. There’ll also be some ground floor retail and a 120-room hotel.”

The 12-story tower at the corner of Delaware Avenue and Chippewa Street, which will serve as the world headquarters for Delaware North, should be completed by 2015. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
