Driver accused of pot had child in car

ROYALTON, N.Y. (WIVB) – New York State Police say a driver was on drugs when she had multiple people inside her vehicle, including a child.

Troopers stopped 19-year-old Courtney L. Condren in Royalton on Tuesday. Officers say they could smell marijuana from inside the car. A drug recognition evaluation allegedly indicated drug use, according to police.

A 16-year-old was in the vehicle during the stop. Condren is facing several charges, including felony aggravated DWI with a child in the vehicle.

Condren was arraigned in the Town of Royalton Court and remanded to Niagara County Jail in lieu of $500 cash or $5,000 bond.
