Grads to walk across stage at North Park Theatre

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Thursday is the last day of school for students in Buffalo Public Schools.

Graduates at Leonardo Da Vinci High School will be leaving with one more lasting memory. Their commencement ceremony is taking place at the historic North Park Theatre.

This is the first time the newly restored theatre will host a high school graduation.

The North Buffalo theatre is nearly 100-years-old. The venue re-opened in March after extensive renovations that took about nine months.

The Goo Goo Dolls played an intimate show at the theatre for their fan club members in April. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
