NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WIVB) – Old Falls Street is taking a cue from Canalside and hosting its own World Cup viewing party when the U.S. takes on Belgium.

Canalside has hosted two viewing parties so far, and each has attracted hundreds of people who come out to share their American pride and cheer on the U.S.

Old Falls Street is taking a page from their book and hosting a viewing party on July 1, beginning at 3 p.m. The game kicks off at 4 p.m.

Fans are encouraged to wear their red, white and blue and bring a lawn chair.

Mayor Paul Dyster said, “We’re throwing a World Cup Soccer party in Niagara Falls and everyone is invited! I can’t wait to hear the cheers and see the hundreds of soccer fans enjoying the game on Old Falls Street.”

Canalside will also be hosting a viewing party on July 1, beginning at 3 p.m.
