WNY’ers protest U.S. involvement in Iraq

IRAQ PROTEST

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Some Western New Yorkers came together to protest United States involvement in Iraq Saturday.
The demonstrators joined at the Western New York Peace Center at Bidwell Parkway and Elmwood Avenue. Their unified message was that violence just creates more violence, and the majority of Americans are against the U.S. sending any Americans to Iraq.

Jennifer Ross, with the Western New York Peace Center, said the U.S. has used military action in the past, and that didn’t work. Ross said the best way for a diplomatic solution is open communication.
