Catholic Charities Appeal brings in $11 million

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Catholic Charities topped their goal this year, and raised $11 million during their appeal.

Bishop Richard Malone announced the final total for the “Drive that Never Fails” on Monday.

The 90th annual campaign began in January. In May, the Catholic Charities leaders said they have already raised $10.3 million. That was just $500,000 shy of this year’s goal.

Funds raised for the appeal support Catholic Charities’ 70 programs and services at 61 locations throughout the Buffalo diocese.
