Driver in crash accused of .25 percent BAC

CLARENCE, N.Y. (WIVB) – A Clarence man is accused of driving drunk during a crash in the Town of Clarence on Sunday evening.

Officials say they responded to the property damage crash around 5:50 p.m. Sunday, at Main Street and Alexanger Drive. The Erie County Sheriff’s Office says 45-year-old Craig E. Watts had more than three times the legal blood alcohol content at the time of the crash, a .25 percent BAC.

Watts was charged with DWI and other violations. He was processed at the sheriff’s office Clarence station and released.
