Doctor from WNY shot to death in New Hampshire

RUMNEY, N.H. (AP) — Authorities say a chiropractor found shot to death in Rumney was killed by a single shot to the head fired by someone he knew.

New Hampshire Attorney General Joseph A. Foster says 48-year-old Dr. David Landseadel was found Sunday evening near Stinson Lake. An autopsy determined he had been shot once.

Foster says Landseadel had been in a dispute with another adult male.

Nobody’s been arrested and the investigation is continuing. Police said earlier that there was no danger to the public.

According to Plymouth Chiropractic’s website, Landseadel had practiced there for the past 13 years after leaving his family clinic in Buffalo, N.Y. He had been licensed since 1996. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
