UB dedicates educational center to former politician

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – The University at Buffalo dedicated its Educational Opportunity Center to Arthur O. Eve on Monday.

He is a former deputy speaker of the State Assembly. UB is honoring Eve for his decades of service to education.

EOC Executive Director Julius Gregg Adams said, “It is not often that we get to acknowledge the work of someone who has positively impacted to many lives while they are still around to here the accolades.”

The center provides academic and vocational programs for students who may not have access to educational resources. It is located on Ellicott Street in downtown Buffalo.
