Fire investigator falls through second floor of home

WEST SENECA, N.Y. (WIVB) – A fire investigator was injured after falling from the second floor of a home in West Seneca.

Firefighters responded to the scene of a house fire in the 800 block of Union Road around 4:30 a.m. Tuesday. There are no details on the extent of the fall, but the investigator suffered minor injuries and was taken to an area hospital for treatment.

Police say no one was in the home when the fire started. The family left the house Monday, after some type of an electrical problem.

Investigators are still working to determine the cause of the fire.
