Man accused of threatening two women with bow and arrow

SALAMANCA, N.Y. (WIVB) – The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office says a man stole a woman’s truck before driving to her home and threatening her with a bow and arrow.

On June 24, deputies say Andrew Jaquish, 28, of Killbuck went to Davis O’Laughlin Buick GMC Cadillac in Great Valley and stole a truck belonging to Nicolette Jimerson. He then allegedly drove to her home on Center Road in the Town of Salamanca.

Once there, authorities say he got into a fight with Jimerson and pulled out a bow and arrow, which he pointed at her and another woman, threatening to shoot them.

He left the area in Jimerson’s truck and abandoned it a short distance away. Deputies say they took him into custody when he was found walking on Rt. 417 in Killbuck.

Jaquish is charged with fourth degree grand larceny, first and second degree criminal contempt, two counts of menacing, and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

He is being held on $10,000 bail. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
