Man seriously injured after crashing into two trucks

LITTLE VALLEY, N.Y. (WIVB) – The sheriff’s office says a man was seriously injured Wednesday after rear ending one truck before continuing forward and colliding with a second truck.

Deputies say the accident happened around 7 a.m. on Rock City Street when 52-year-old Scott Brown of Randolph rear ended a truck driven by 18-year-old Brock Doberstein of Little Valley. Brown’s vehicle then went into the northbound lanes and struck a truck driven by William Andrews of Salamanca head-on.

Brown was not wearing his seat belt and suffered serious head and chest injuries. He was flown to ECMC by Mercy Flight. The other two drivers were treated at the scene.

Authorities are still investigating the crash but say charges are pending. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
