BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Metro rail service to the waterfront will be extended Friday, to accommodate riders who are going to watch fireworks at Canalside.

The Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority says they will extend service on the Fourth of July for up to one hour after fireworks, that are expected to start at 10:15 p.m.

Train service will run continuously, making stops at all stations during the extended service period, unless determined otherwise by a Metro supervisor.
