BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Former Buffalo Sabres GM Darcy Regier has landed a multi-year contract with the Arizona Coyotes.

Regier, who spent 17 years in Buffalo, was fired last November as part of a massive front office shakeup that also saw coach Ron Rolston replaced with Ted Nolan.

The Coyotes announced Thursday that Regier will serve as the team’s senior vice president and assistant general manager. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
