Charter school building to hit auction block

Charter

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – A former charter school is getting ready to hit the auction block. The Community Charter School building will be sold to the highest bidder this Saturday. The school closed for good on June 30th.

Last year, the State Board of Regents voted to deny a provisional charter renewal for the school. They blamed declining student performance, and poor English and math proficiency scores.

The building, on Edison Avenue near Eggert Road, has 19 classrooms, 14 offices and 19 other rooms. It’s 742,00 square-feet.
