Two arrested in underage drinking sting

NIAGARA COUNTY, N.Y. (WIVB) — The Niagara County Sheriff’s Office, NY State Police and the NYS State Liquor Authority held a joint underage alcohol enforcement detail Sunday.

During the detail, 17 convenience stores were checked by deputies utilizing underage operatives.

15 of the stores did not sell to the underage operatives, but two did.

Arrested were 50-year old Clyde Busch of Medina who works at Stop-N-Gas on Lake Avenue in Lockport and a 17-year old from Wilson who works at the Gulf Station on Center Street in Lewiston.

Both were charged with Unlawfully Dealing with a Child in the first degree and prohibited sales, both of which are misdemeanors.
