Auction of charter school halted after sale

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – A scheduled auction was canceled at the Community Charter School after the building was sold.

The Board of Trustees sold the building to The new Charter School for Inquiry. The property was set to go to the highest bidder later this week, but the new owners offered more than the estimated auction price.

The Charter School for Inquiry plans to open the building to students in September of next year.
