Special Forces parachute in to Hamburg

HAMBURG, N.Y. (WIVB) – U.S. Special Forces returned to Hamburg on Thursday to continue a drill along the shore of Lake Erie.

The joint training exercise includes members of the Coast Guard, Border Protection and Hamburg Police. On Thursday, crews parachuted from a helicopter as they continued to train for a search-and-rescue operation.

Later in the afternoon, they moved to Canalside, where they rappelled from a Black Hawk helicopter on to the U.S.S. Little Rock.
