Tonawanda Police conduct dog census


TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WIVB) – Police are conducting a dog census throughout the Town of Tonawanda and Village of Kenmore.

Dogs will be checked for a valid dog license during this time. Residents who have an unlicensed dog will be given 15 days to acquire a license.

The law requires all dogs four months or older to have a current town or village license. A current rabies vaccination is required to purchase a license.
