Sabres ink former Canuck

BUFFALO, NY (WIVB) –The Sabres continuing to bring new players into their organization. On Sunday the team announced that they signed former Canuck, Zack Dalpe, to a one-year contract.

Dalpe played 55 NHL games last season for the Vancouver Canucks, where he logged seven points (4+3). He is a former second-round draft pick (45th overall in 2008).

Dalpe is a center from Paris, Ontario. In parts of five AHL seasons, Dalpe has totaled 142 points (68+74) and 52 penalty minutes in 186 regular-season AHL games, and added 19 points (9+10) in 29 postseason contests. He also received All-Rookie honors in 2011.
