Man suffers stab wound during home invasion

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (WIVB) – A man is at WCA Hospital in stable condition after being stabbed during a home invasion in Jamestown.

Police say two males armed with knives entered the home on Hedges Street around 1:10 a.m. on Tuesday. They stabbed an occupant in the chest before robbing him of cash and other property. The suspects fled the location before police arrived.

Police say the act wasn’t random, and the home was targeted by the suspects.

The suspects were wearing clothes to cover their faces, but witnesses say one male had dark skin and another had light skin. Jamestown Police ask anyone with information to call 483-7537.
