Animal control officers rescue fawn from Glen Falls

AMHERST, N.Y. (WIVB) – An animal control officer rescued a fawn from Glen Falls Wednesday, in the Village of Williamsville.

Amherst Police and the Williamsville Fire Department also responded to the scene, where the fawn had fallen into the water at the top of the falls.

On their Facebook page, Amherst Police updated the public, saying the fawn was safely removed from the water.

They also included the photos seen with this story, showing Animal Control Officer Christensen rescuing the fawn and also checking out her condition.
