Two suspects sought in armed robbery of pawn shop


BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Police are searching for two armed robbery suspects who held up a pawn shop on the 1900 block of Seneca Street last Friday.

Officers say the two men entered the store around 2:30 p.m. and demanded gold and money from the store clerk. She refused, and the suspects grabbed her purse and fled.

Authorities say the suspects took the clerk’s ATM card and used it at Tops across the street to withdraw money from the victim’s bank account.

Both suspects are described as black between 18- and 20-years-old. Both are between 5’8″ and 5’11” tall and may have left the area in a dark Jeep Cherokee with a chrome strip on the side with a newer gold-style license plate.
