Forbes ranks Bills on valuable sports teams list

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIVB) – Forbes has ranked the world’s 50 most valuable sports teams in 2014. The Buffalo Bills made the list at number 47.

According to Forbes, the team is worth $870 million. They note that Ralph Wilson bought the team for $25,000 in 1959.

The most valuable team is Real Madrid, worth $3.44 billion. Forbes reports the New York Yankees are number four on the list, worth $2.5 billion.

The NFL team worth the most, according to Forbes, is the Dallas Cowboys. The team ranked in fifth place and is reportedly worth $2.3 billion.
