Cuomo announces funding for genomic medicine center

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – More money is coming from Albany to Buffalo. Governor Cuomo has announced $105 million In funding for the New York State Genomic Medicine and Big Data Center.

A total of $48 million in Buffalo Billion funding is allocated to support the new Genomic Medicine Center in Buffalo. $57 million is allocated for development at a New York City facility.

The plan includes the creation of some 500 new jobs for the city.
