Car crashes into front yard of home


BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Buffalo Police are investigating an incident on Fillmore Avenue and Van Gorder Street Friday morning.

A source at the scene tells News 4 the driver of a vehicle lost control, and crashed into the front yard of a home in the 2600 block of Fillmore. The car had apparently just left a party, and there were reports of shots fired in the area.

Three people were in the car at the time of the accident. One had an injury to their foot and was taken to the hospital. There are no details released on how the victim’s foot was injured.

Recently, there have been several people in Buffalo who have been shot in the foot. On July 7th, four people were shot in the foot on Erb Street. Two days later, two more people were shot in the foot on West Avenue. There are no details on whether these incidents are related.
