Allen Lake State Forest, N.Y. (WIVB)  — A group of forest rangers in Allegany County shared this picture with WIVB and our viewers of a rescued and rehabilitated eagle ready for release.

Ange, Mark and Winnie from the preserve helped rescue and rehabilitate the eagle.

Allen Lake State Forest is located in the towns of Allen and Caneadea in Allegany county .

The recreation area covers a total of 2, 421 acres and is forested with a mixture of hardwood species and planted conifers.

The Southern Tier area is a popular destination for hunting both small and big game.
