RIPLEY, N.Y. (WIVB) – State Police arrested two people they say broke into and vandalized a closed motel.

Troopers were called to Colonial Squire on Shortman Road in the Town of Ripley on June 17, where they discovered a rear door had been forced open. Inside the closed motel, they found numerous graffiti spray paintings on the lobby wall and in the men’s room.

After further investigation, officers obtained a description of the suspects and caught up to them on July 10.

Both Natalie Knoll, 21, of Erie, PA and Broderick McGarvey, 23, of Harbor Creek, PA are charged with third degree criminal mischief and third degree burglary.
