Two women with kids in car facing charges

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (WIVB) – Two women traveling in a car with their children are both facing charges after State Police say they discovered the driver was drunk.

Troopers say on July 2, they pulled over Lacey Tardif, 26, of Sinclairville for running red lights on 2nd Street in Jamestown. Tardif had her 2-year-old daughter in the vehicle and State Police say her BAC was .14 percent.

Tardif is charged with aggravated DWI under Leandra’s Law, unlawful possession of marijuana and destroying physical evidence for allegedly emptying a bag of marijuana.

Her passenger, Kelsey Raynor, 27, also of Sinclairville, was charged by State Police with endangering the welfare of a child. Troopers say Raynor had her 1-year-old daughter in the vehicle. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
