Underage drinking initiative nets arrests

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (WIVB) – New York State Police in Jamestown checked 12 businesses for compliance during an underage drinking initiative over the weekend.

Three people are now charged with prohibited sale of an alcoholic beverage, a misdemeanor. Eleven people under the age of 21 are charged with unlawful possession of alcohol.

Misdemeanor arrests:

  • Kayla Delcamp, 27, of Sinclairville, bartender at the Witch Kitch Inn issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Town Of Charlotte Court
  • Joyce Thomas, 45, of Sinclairville, bartender at the Backyard Bar & Grill issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Gerry Court
  • Lloyd Newhouse, age 49 of Mayville, bartender at the Hartfield Bay Cafe issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Chautauqua Court
